I am looking for a good brand of Giardenara peppers. I know about Scala's but I'm looking to try something different.Cheers!!
Kick out the jams!
Try Marconi, another excellent Chicago brand.
Some people may frown on this. If you are looking for something different, I really think the hot pepper mix from Potbelly's is outstanding. You can buy it by the jars at the restaurants and then use it on your sandwiches. I really like a combo of sport and sweet peppers without the other veggies - most of the time on my sandwiches.
I don't know any real good peppers bought at the store, but to me the best giardiniera peppers are at Mr. Beef on orleans, they make the sandwich, their not to hot and a little crunchy,it's hard to explain but their the best.Every Super Bowl I get a gallon container,I put them on pizza and sub sandwiches, they ain't cheap, but they are the best, they would make a fortune if they ever bottled them.
Thomasmichael, I like the peppers at MR Beef too... probably better than any other place I have been. They are really fresh and not too hot at all.
You should try the Giardiniera at Pop's its home made with jalepeno's
I congratulate, what words..., a remarkable idea
