Sweet & Hot no dip
Beef was not as good as Taylor St. A little too oily. Bread was ok not great. Too much oil from the hot peppers, not enough peppers.

Great beef - good texture, excellent hot peppers. bread is great nice & crispy top. Only draw back is the foil boat they put the sandwich in before they wrap it.

Old school beef joint. This place is in my top 3 for beef. Beff is cooked to perfection, never too hot or tough. Peppers are cooked and seasoned like they're supposed to be, not just steamed. Hot peppers are great too. Most important for me is the bread. Always fresh and the sandwich is wrapped in paper. They don't hide stale bread by wrapping the sandwich in foil like others do.

Without question, the best beef in the Chicago area. The only problem is they downsized the sandwich about 10 years ago, they use smaller bread to make it look big but my belly knows when it's getting cheated. So to be satisified I have to eat 2. Not fair.
