Buona Beef - Rolling Meadows

I ordered at the store. However, when figuring out the best economic way to order for my family the manager suggested I order "by the pound"... so this may not be a typical review.
MR. DONE W BURGERS Review:
I used to love burgers they were my specialty when it came to food. Too many burgers later my new food love is the Italian Beef Sandwich. The Italian Beef I got at Buona in Rolling Meadows was excellent and all but this review is mostly about the helpfulness of their staff and a true economic value! I was odering dinner for my family (2 Adults, Chidren 10,8 & 5) trying to figure what the most cost effective way to purchase all items would be when the manager suggested "by the pound". This option--which is not on their menu or at least I didn't see it, gets you all the Beef and fixings you need for several Italian Beef sandwiches. For under $15.00 I got a pound of pre-cooked sliced beef, a little bucket of gravy/sauce, Italian bread and small container of sweet peppers. The Italian Beef was great this way and I could have my wet Italian Beef without it soaking and destroying the bun on my way home. I can't believe the fantastic value... I had leftovers for the next day! I thought I was going to spend $20 to $25 and left paying under $15! I thought it was very "cool" of the manager to suggest this way of ordering. I did have to heat up the gravy and put the sliced meet in, but that only took a few minutes. If you are a cost concious Italian Beef Lover, father of children trying to save for their college/future, I suggest this way of buying your next Italian Beef Sandwich/Meal!
